Are you members of ABTA?

Are you Atol Bonded? Do you hold an Atol Licence?
Yes we are. Almond Resort Experts is a trading name of The Freedom Travel Group and our air holidays and flights are ATOL protected, since The Freedom Travel Group hold an Air Travel Organiser's Licence granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is ATOL 6042. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad, and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking. Can I book my travel extras with you?
Yes you can. Call us to book car hire, airport parking, attraction tickets, resort transfers etc with us by calling us on 0844 209 4141 and our travel consultants will be happy to help.
Do I need to take out Travel Insurance?
Yes, Holiday Insurance is essential when you travel. Make sure you are fully covered and its a good idea to pack your policy in your hand baggage.
Do I need a passport?
Yes, whenever you leave the UK you must have a passport with you. Check that your passport is in date. Several countries require that your passport has 6 months validity after the return date. You should also ensure that any children under the age of 16 have their own passport when travelling overseas.
How can I pay for my holiday?
When making a reservation you will need to have a current debit, credit or charge card. We are happy to accept most Debit/Credit cards The debit will be automatically deducted from your bank account Please note that a surcharge may applied to all credit / charge card transactions. Please ask for full details.
Do I need to let you know i have a disability?
If you or any member of your party have any disabilities, it is extremely important that we make the necessary arrangements to ensure your holiday goes smoothly. We must therefore insist that you contact our offices on 0844 209 4141 before completing any reservation to ensure compatibility for the holiday that you chose.
What Currency do I need to take?
Try to take a mixture of local currency and travellers cheques. Take the majority in traveller's cheques as these are insured against loss or theft, with the remainder, enough for the first day or so, in local currency.
How do I call the UK from abroad?
If dialling from outside the UK, you'll need the local international access code followed by 44 for the UK. You then dial the UK number as if it were a long distance call, i.e., including the area code, but do not dial the initial "0". e.g. International access code then +44 123 456789
Will I need vaccinations?
It is recommended by various countries that vaccinations be carried out before you travel. Your GP can provide you with up to date advice.
Can I fly when I'm pregnant?
Some airlines refuse to accept passengers who are more than 28 weeks pregnant. Please check before making your holiday booking.
What do I do if I have a complaint in resort?
If you have a complaint, always make sure that your hotel/accommodation Manager or tour operator representative is aware of the problem straight away. They may be able to fix the problem immediately. If the situation is not resolved to your satisfaction, ask your tour operator representative to assist you in completing a complaint form. If you wish to take matters further then please give our customer complaints department a call on 0844 874 0104 as soon as you return from your holiday. Customer Services will request that you put your compaint in writing to enable us to address with the relevant suppliers/operators.
